A panel discussion that combines research and practice around the experiences of young LGBTQ+ people with migration experiences. Our focus is on the role that sexual identity and gender identity play in LGBTQ+ migrants home country, during migration and after arrival in Sweden. Camilla Ivarsson has conducted a qualitative interview study with young LGBTQ+ people with migration experience. RFSL Newcomers is a project that provides support, guidance, and safe spaces for LGBTQI+ individuals, asylum seekers, and refugees who have arrived in Malmö/Skåne.
