Malmö Pride 2023
5th – 8th July
Come and celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community at Malmö Pride this year! Malmö Pride is a 4-day event that happens annually, promoting LGBTQIA+ rights through culture, education, and celebration. This year’s festival will bring back many of the cherished scenes we have seen and become known for over the years, including Pride House, Youth Pride, the Parade, our concerts, parties and more. Save the dates in your diaries and follow us on instagram and facebook to stay up to date with all our exciting announcements.

Parade
8th July, 13:00
Join our Pride parade on the 8th July, starting at 1300, to raise awareness of LGBTQIA+ issues, celebrate our community, and honor the activists who have marched before. The parade will begin with speeches and music, march through the city, and end in Folkets Park for a celebration. Stay updated on the start location, speakers, and route by following us on Instagram and Facebook.

Pride House
This year, in addition to being the political heart of the festival, Pride House is also going to be a bustling hub for the entire LGBTQIA+ community. With lively bars, exciting social events, and plenty of spaces to chill and connect, there’s something for everyone. And don’t forget the amazing range of talks and workshops covering everything from politics and sexuality to health and culture. Come join us at Scandic Triangeln to celebrate love, diversity, and equality!

Youth Pride
5-9 July
Pride can be particularly crucial for LGBTQIA+ youth. Youth Pride offers events exclusively for people aged 13-25. Our goal is to create a safer space where youth can express themselves freely and without judgment. After the success of last year’s Youth Pride, we will once again collaborate with Arena 305, who will host and organise the event.

Concerts
Malmö Pride always features popular artists performing on our main stages. Stay tuned for big artist announcements in May!

Parties
We’re following in the footsteps of last year’s festival with nightly events hosted by Malmö Pride and other organizers. There will be something for everyone with both separatist and inclusive parties at various venues. And don’t miss the big closing party on Saturday the 8th! We’re also bringing back the popular Pridebar at Pride House in Scandic Triangeln, where you can enjoy performances or just hang out with a drink.
The Pride Ball – Malmö Pride’s official Closing Party
Saturday 8 July, 22:00 – 03:00
The ever-so popular Closing Party will once again be held at Moriska Paviljongen. Expect an iconic party with three dance floors, stage shows, awesome guest artists, drag queens & kings, dancers, Francesca’s Karaoke, PLUS very special guest stars from Drag Race and much, much more.
Get your ticktets now, last year they sold out fast!

Official Song
We have an official Pride Song for 2023: ‘LOVE IS FREE’ by Anna Jadéus!
Anna Jadéus is the Malmö activist, songwriter and producer behind Malmö Pride’s official Pride Song 2023 – Love is Free.
Anna writes: ‘The song is a tribute to the boundless love and the LGBTQIA+ community. In a world where humanity is tested, our rights and mere existence are questioned and drag queens are threatened for showing children that they can grow up and be just as they want, I will sing louder. Because “Love is free like the birds in the sky, nothing can ever hold it down!”. In the end, love always wins.’
Find it on Spotify, iTunes, and wherever you listen to music…
We love the song and hope you will too!
